I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. Ya it's not epic fresh pow snow. A group of us went up yesterday. Found tons of un touched areas up Boulder Less as the day went on but still on the ride down we're finding fun areas to track up. Snow was getting pretty crusty but for a first ride...
coming from my Search and Rescue background , I can speak on this a little. In BC for sure, regardless of training, starting at entry level and up. You fall under the good Samaritan act . As long as you are not out there MAKING MONEY off of it. IE: Guiding ect. with no waiver you are covered...
trail pass sucks if youre only out for a quick ride, but Greystokes is so close to home there that the fuel cost to get yourself up the coq. to find snow would pretty much even that out...
what sleds are you looking at / from where? talk to your dealer.. they will have all the info on good...
ya thats pretty high on that.. sold my 06 RMK 900 for 2500... my 00 summit 700 for 2200 and that came with a home brew sled deck..
for 4500 you can get into an M chassis... or a Rev.... MUCH better sled
We plan on going up next weekend , the extra snow can only make it better ! Ive never been there myself but from what Ive heard / read , its head up the greystokes fsr... hit the parking lot.. road ride for a while.. then boom.. find places to play
everyone we ride with has a min. of Shovel probe and beacon. Thnx for the info tho. You read about and see vid of all the amazing terrain . Would love to get up that way, but would hate to end up with a rider or two over his head.
thanks everyone for the info here, I was going to post my own thread or search for something like this.. most of the riders in my group are fairly new to "mountain" riding so to speak.. only a year or two experience for the most part.. the amount of snow revy offers is unreal , but we were all...
title says it all, Ive seen a picture or two of people riding Greystokes already, anyone on here been up there yet and is it worth the drive at this point?? Really have the itch to get out !!!!!!
thnx in advance
100% agree.. Autosol is by far the best product I have used on alum... for the real scratched up areas.. do a little wet sand first then autosol with a power ball or flitz ect...
So, front shocks (coilovers) are worn on my 2000 700..All the books list pre 99 670's ect.. and 2001-2002 800's.. I dont want anything super crazy as this is the last season ill be riding the ol girl. Can anyone tell me if say a 2002 800 will run the same front suspension as mine?
thnx in...
