Seems like there are two types of owners; the ones that are blacked and lifted, with monster energy stickers abound OR grandpa's who are 80 years old driving them bone stock.
The other I saw a beauty 2007 2500 SLT Crew, the thing looked brand new. Dropped my card on his window. Has 50k on it...
Hey guys
Looking to sell my 14' Ecoboost Crew and get into a diesel. It just isn't an efficient towing vehicle and sucks empty too. Towing a 6000# trailer I'm getting around 30 L per 100.
Wouldn't mind going back to an older Chev, an LBZ if I can find one. Not particularly picky but has to be...
Wow - I would be pretty happy to get 12-13 L per 100, empty on the highway. I am around 15 usually.
When the travel trailer is hooked up (a fairly light one, at 6000 lbs) - its easy - 25 L per 100. Going through any sort of elavation is closer to 30.
I have the Leer old man-opy, and stock...
I've been driving a 14' Ecoboost Crew Cab (157" WB) for the past three years and while I like how it drives, and the interior space - this thing sucks as a daily driver.
Even on the highway, I struggle to crack 15 L per 100km. Combined I am over 16. I drive it like a grandmother. While I don't...
2016 F150 3683" wheelbase, 4x4 Supercrew -
Max payload: 2096 lbs payload with 5.0L
Max Tow: 10,078 lbs (or 11,875 lbs with 3.5 V6)
2016 Nissan Titan XD Platinum Cummins - 4X4 Crew
Max payload: 1467 lbs
Max Tow:10,600 lbs
So what's the appeal here with the Titan - it isn't payload or...
I didn't want to buy two sets of tires.
1 - to replace the garbage Goodyear SRA's that came on my truck.
2 - a dedicated winter tire and another set of wheels.
Duratracs seemed like a good option. My Nokian's on my last truck kicked ass, but these are alright. Good in the deep snow, but not...
Christ, 80,000? ; is that all? I guess it does have black wheels and nice tires lol.
Corvette stingray with almost 20k left over. Just saying. New truck prices are out of this friggin world imo.
Mine is still pretty new (33k), but I haven't had any problems with it. Still holds 6th gear towing on most hills, but it sure burns a lot of fuel doing it.
Should be called Eco OR Boost though.
I went to Fountain. They were quite a bit cheaper than everyone else by several hundred in my case. Free rotations and flat repairs for the life of the tire too.
I priced the muteki's too and they were less than a hundred bucks cheaper.

I ended up going with Duratracs, and they have been great this winter. Quieter on bare roads than I expected. Nice looking tire too.
What kind of price range are you guys seeing for something decent? Every ad or website says 'call for pricing'. Thinking a good one is around the 7-9k mark no?
Can confirm. Yes yellow jackets = you are generally fawked. The are usually robot fine collectors, who have never smiled or had fun. Or ever done real police work lol.
