I used a 2" square tubing for a 2" riser and it has worked awesome and was free in the metal bin. Just drilled it to fit the stock mounting holes and bolted it in between the column and the bar.
i have used both and the previous owner had polaris belts and he had everyone still for spares. worst damage was thread showing on polaris ones so both seem good to me.
Which sled deck do you have and how's it been? Looking for one in couple months time and just wondering which has better ramps or any problems anyone has had with there's . Thanks

Typically if it has been updated they put a sticker on your ecu that says the date of the update. I think if you have had it in for service usually they would have asked if you wanted it updated but for me i bought my 08 m1000 as a non-current so it was updated already when i picked it up.
