Had a blast in the heat yesterday with a buddy and his family, we rode, had a fire, the kids slid down some hills and we all got a sunburn, staging was great and the snow nice and soft.
People have been into mear and smith as far as I know. I can ride from the house and am choosing to load up and drive to fernie if that tells you anything
I love my finger Throttle. Your forearm will hurt for the first little bit as it's using a different muscle then your used to. If I get on a normal sled now I feel so awkward
im a fan of the bca's for the ease of use and the mic , a few friends have the baofeng but if one buddies riding without the other he has no clue how to change the channel to match up with the bca or garmin channels
Rode some safe meadows today and the snow was good with a couple feet of fresh. There is lots of zones I wouldn't punch a trail into yet as we just don't have the snowpack yet, but there is fun to be had if you hit it right
It's not a need that's for sure but solely personal preference. I've had both styles and definitely prefer having the shovel on the outside in its own holder and not taking up room inside the bag. Again personal preference [emoji106]
It was a weird day that started out with towing a seized up doo, then we tip toed into some meadows that I know of. It was a beautiful day with the sunshine and great temps but we really need some snow. At lunch time we probed 60cm of sugar snow where we stopped, it's pretty scary travelling...
