You can see my pic, I used the stock switches.. I didn't want to spend the extra money, and I like the look of stock, I know, it's bulky and such but... It worked with minor adjustments..
Is there a decent switch relocate for the Proclimb? Really wanting to go finger throttle, as I'm used to riding a bike, and the comments are very positive. The holdup would be the factory throttle block with reverse and kill switch integrated...

Speedwerx makes a nice plug and play but $$$.

I did my 2012 proclimb by hardwiring the headlights on highbeam to get rid of that switch, by passed the killswitch cause of tether and key, used a dirt bike kill switch for reverse mounted small toggles on the dash beside the cluster for hand and thumb, was a lot of fiddling around but was my only option to run a bare throttle block and keep the bars clean. one of the cats down fall imo.

I put one on my T3 two seasons ago. Took a good solid ride to get used to it. I’m a fan and don’t plan on going back to a thumb throttle. Like others have said, get the guard for it if you spend any amount of time in the trees.

Myself and another guy in our riding group both have the Munster finger throttle, we both have them set up the same, like in one of the previous posts we have it pushed back so only use the index finger and ours are also almost pointed straight down. Niether one of us have the guard and we do a lot of tight tree riding and trail making through lots of tight willow and we both have yet to have a problem. Not saying don’t get the gaurd but I’m thinking because ours are pointed pretty much straight down is the reason we’ve had no problems. The product quality is excellent and I could never go back to thumb throttle, hoping on someone else’s sled to try it out or move it feels strange now. The other thing I noticed with it, not sure if anyone else did as well, is when I had a thumb throttle I found turning to the right slightly different, almost a little harder, and after switching to a finger throttle their was no difference in turning anymore. After riding for years with a thumb throttle it took me about 1 1/2hrs to get use to the finger throttle and I never looked back.

Both my boys have finger throttles and they say they are not going back. One with a guard and one without. Aggressive tree riding led to the guardless one being smashed and a ride out on vice grips but that’s the way it goes. I’m not convinced yet but I’m sure I’ll come around. Well made product and great customer service.

I love my finger Throttle. Your forearm will hurt for the first little bit as it's using a different muscle then your used to. If I get on a normal sled now I feel so awkward

I ran a finger throttle for half the season last year. Back on a thumb and will never go to the finger again. Feel I have way more response with my thumb over the finger.
finger throttle is just fad imo

Thanks for the responses, I had the opportunity to ride a sled with a finger throttle this weekend. It took me all of 5 minutes to get used to it. The trail part kinda sucks, but the control you have with the extra grip up on the hill is awesome. I will be putting one on my sled for sure.

I have short fingers so for me was very uncomfortable and I cramped bad. Tree riding/climbing was horrendous because I would try to get a better grip and I would end up pulling more throttle getting out of control. Good luck with the throttle and I hope you enjoy it.

I love my Munster finger. It’s perfect for my for my long ET fingers. Not one complaint. My buddy on the other hand might not like it since he has no index finger and half a middle finger due to a bull riding mishap, wish I woulda took a video of him jumping on my sled to try it out and not knowing of the finger throttle....sits for a second, slowly turns his head to me and says....fawkn prick haha. He still took her for a spin tho, guess he just used middle finger. Was pretty fricken funny. Never going back to the thumb.

It seems to me that a twist throttle is an option that would not need a guard. Anyone ever try a twist on a sled?

Not sure how a twist throttle would work, but if you ride dirt bikes at all it will take you no time at all to get used to. I rode a demo sled on my last ride this year with a thumb throttle it felt so weird.

i think it would be cool to try. Until your in tight trees and your half off the sled and trying to twist a throttle instead of using one finger....that would sux. my 2cents.
