Ya, a friend of mine has a hammerhead with the lsa and a scott, we where loaded about the same on the trip and he didn't tour around the lakes, he burnt the same amount of fuel but travelled about 50miles less. So roughly 25% more. Same as everything with jetboats its all a trade off.
Ok I will try, that will be cast hey? so there is some alloys there doesn't weld perfectly I imagine? any help would be appriciated, I'm fairly new to alum welding.
Ya, I would say a timing issue, could be ecm its worth a try if its a simple swap from a friend. A timing light should tell you something. I've heard of stator problems on the 175
So it has spark, correct? Have you tried pulling a couple easy plugs spraying gas in the cylinder and trying to start? If it won't fire on that your timing must be the problem. Doing this will tell you if its fuel, air or ignition.
never too much!

Tuchodi Lakes, Northern BC. You drive about 60km past Fort Nelson to the Kledo Launch and head upriver on the Muskwa, turn off at the tuchodi and head up to the 2 Lakes. Beautiful for sure.
