Trail in to most places are getting really beat up. Snows melting fast. There's still a little snow in the trees, but it's set up. Anything above the trees is hard, windblown and icy.
I had the mag pickups come loose. They would sit there and vibrate. Every once and a while I would loose spark. Pulled off the recoil and found all the little brass wires from the pick up. Also, does it have a tether? Double check the grounds, front left corner by bumper mount.
Wore one primary clutch completely out already this year. Nothing left of the weights, rollers, etc. .. First sign was belt life.
Dealer warranty covered the clutch and belt.
Make sure the secondary has enough side to side float, and that the clutches have no burs... The casting of...
I think there is a huge market for these bikes. Harley has progressing the bike market for a few years now. Its definitely targeting women riders. They have started the "garage meetings" at most dealership to help tap into this market. My dealer is getting a few of these bikes, some are...
In all honesty, why not sell the kit? Buy a kit that's setup to run low boost, but have the performance. Boost-it sells a great kit. More boost doesn't always mean more power. It's extremely costly to retrofit kits, then have to go through all the tuning again.
There's a great market...
Take your throttle cable back off off the thumb lever. Start the sled. Does it idle normal again? Check cable under the rubber boot, just below the bar mount. Sometimes the cable wrap, comes out of the plastic adjustment knob. And it hidden under under the rubber. So you search...
I've ran my 12 boosted from day one. 2000 miles, before a rebuild. When I took it apart, everything looked brand new. Recently sold the turbo, back to stock. Getting ready for what 15 has to offer. Maybe a turbo snow bike instead.
Sorry, I should have said, even though they have the turbo brand on the box, they are all built by dobec/pure logic. The only one that is different, is the attitude box for the pro rmk.
Yes, mine was intermittent. It just died on on the Hill. I would start it, and go. If I stayed in high rpm range it worked fine, until I let off. Then it would die. Restart, amd go....
I had it not start a few times in the garage, to the point where I brought it to the dealer...
I've got a local sled shop here in town, that says he has dyno sheets to prove it. But im more concerned about the other issues. A dealer I talked to says he's had 6 kits get returned because of them. Not sure how true that is either. Never seen a dealership take back aftermarket parts.
