There is a braided ground strap attached to one of the motor mounts and to the frame. They are famous for corroding out and breaking. It will cause all sorts of wierd electrical issues. Also agree with check the tail light wiring. It tends to get squashed and rub through under the tank...
T motion is an excellent upgrade for the price. Flex edge track does help but it still works well with a regular one. Did it to mine sled last year and wouldnt go back

Just wondering what everyones thoughts are on the PTO bearing buddy for the 800R motors. Is it worth it? Anyone using one? The idea sounds great but will it be more of a head ache then its worth?

I'm wanting to regrease my PTO bearing on my 09 800 PTEK. How much grease to you put in there? And how do you clean the old stuff out. Just looking for some advice

Another good one is the rear suspension upgrade from xtreme airvents. Makes the 09 skid like the 10's and 11's. Big difference in handling and like 300 bucks. Works well.
Try checking that dpm solenoid. The little metal plunger in the DPM on the carbs. Pull it out, hook a 9 volt battery to it and make sure it clicks. Then spray a little shot of wd-40 on it. That thing is common for sticking.
Ya i figured that out now lol. i drove the bearing out of the caliper and put it on the shaft. Then the housing slipped together like nothing. Got her all together now. Thanks for all the help guys.
Ok, made a puller to get the caliper off. Worked great. got new track in there and drive shaft in the tunnel. Now what is the trick to get that bearing back seated all the way on the shaft? Checked for marks in the shaft and inner race and all is good. do i have to heat it up before or am i...

I'm gonna be doing a track swap on my 09, and ive heard that the brake caliper can be a pain to remove. Is there any special tools (ie puller) for this caliper. Or do you guys have any tricks to remove it. Want all the info before i tear into it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Just recieved my boards from BMF and there is no install instructions fo where to cut or anything. Looked on website and nothing. Was wondering if anyone has these boards and has installed them. Just dont want to quess, only one shot with this lol. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
