Finally have a few hours on them now . As mentioned above, to even notice there was a tune in the machines I also had to get different impellers. Went with the Solas 12/14 as recommended by a few tuning places. There is a noticeable difference in take of speed and pull . It jumps up and holds...
200$ US through the Silber website . Apparently Westlock can do it , but they are terrible at returning calls and emails , and it sounded like they were gonna mark it up a little bit and charge an hour of labor on top of it for a tech to do it . Quicker and cheaper to mail it directly to Silber...
Pretty much what LilDuke said above . Most of the people that have tried mine own larger modeled faster units , which they say can get boring at times . Almost like your driving a boat there so big . Atleast on these you can toss around like a sled kinda , try a few tricks , wheelie , and cat...
Bit the bullet and sent them off in the mail today directly to Silber for the 115hp tune . Will be curious to see how they perform . One of my units has an aftermarket impellar (which they recommend) and the other has a next to new factory one . Will be interesting to compare .
Looking at possibly getting my Sparks bumped up a little bit . Thinking of a 110 or a 115hp tune . Does anyone happen to have any experience with any tunes? Information and reviews are pretty scarce online . Is it worth it ?
Right now I’m leaning towards the 115hp tune from Silber , through...
Hit up Renshaw this weekend both Sat and yesterday . Snow is considerably better back in the Spirit Lake area . Seems as tho the big storm that came through Friday night hit the back end harder than anywhere else near the cabin or back side ! Tons of snow back there , if your heading out in the...
Had somewhat of a similar issue with my 05 Duramax . Symptoms quite similar , but only when it was cold. Gave me some codes and an engine light every time it did it . Was able to clear them with my chip and once the oil warmed up it was fine . . Ended up being some sticky solenoids and valving...
Can’t recall his name , but also noticed him come in to the parking lot quite hot this evening . Perhaps to many pops and puffs at the cabin before heading down lol
We were up Westridge both Sat and Sun . With the little bit of fresh that fell over Sat night / Sun morning , it made for some good headlight deep stuff in the trees ! Snow noticeabley started to feel heavier as soon as the sun came out yesterday afternoon
Special thanks to the asshat that decided to take my Linq jerry can and snow flap from below the Clemina cabin along the trail today , was really the cherry on top to find that stolen when trying to limp out a broken sled an hour later this morning. Would be cool to have back ...
There’s probably close to a meter of fresh on Renshaw . Couldn’t see most of the day , snowing hard . Most people didn’t venture to far from the cabin . Bring your snorkels !
Jackson’s sled blew the anti stab axle out the front of the rail . Previous owner cut the rail a little to close to the bolt hole . All fixed up . Found a set in Revy and got a new anti stab axle made up at Macs .
Rode Eagles the past three days . Trail is a smooth highway . Blessed with sun...
Belle was decent today . Not many guys up , about eight inches of fluffy stuff out in the big open wind effected areas and meadows , but once you drop into the trees and burn areas , we found anywhere from bumper to headlight deep snow , made for a pretty wicked day . Was snowing pretty Good on...
