hey guys, im looking at getting an 06 RMK for my girlfriend. I found one that hit a tree and the right side is torn off. everything else is good. I have access to an 800 with a dead engine. body looks the same im just wondering if the suspension parts will mate up? also probably rob bulkhed...

Does an 800 fit into an m1000 chassis? Only reason I'm asking is I ha e a lead o. A dead 1000 chassis and a good 800 motor. thnx guys

i still think i will use the sled till the end of the season. although i can use my spare rev while i do the motor on this one?

Hey guys, sorry for the delay i finally got some numbers. sled has 125 on bothe when cold/throttle open/5 big pulls uggh... when warm with throttle open and 5 big pulls left side 105 right side 110 boo-urns :( i really didnt want to re-check as the sled is running and preforming good...

not yet, parts just came in today. im going to do another compression test, trottle open as previously suggested. one warm one cold.

went out to harp yesterday. sled ran awesome! started first pull every time after we stopped. the "un-ported track" mod and the pilot 6.9s were a nice addition to this weeks ride aswell ;)

changed the heater relay... sled starts first pull. unreall........ hand warmers even seem to work better :P thnx guys

I know the 6,9s are better, but what about the previous style. Think they are the 5.7s

compression 75psi on both when cold :(

got the relay, gonna do a compression test too. one cold and one warm. readings should be similar right?

changing what relay? carb heaters? is this not just a valve?

my sled starts fine when cold... full choke, bit of throttle and three or 4 pulls. pretty standard. but after riding for a couple hrs stop for lunch or longer than 10 minutes or so its a hard start. the only way i can get it fired is full choke and about 10 or more pulls. mostly more...
