Long story lol. The glacier used to be closed to sleds in the past because of heli skiing. Once RK quit flying there the wvss applied for access, took years and many meetings to get it open. The dates are set so skiers can have the glacier to themselves until then.... The Northstar glacier is...

Not sure if the new BCA radios have a PTT button other than on the mic, we had a situation where a guy in our group got stuck and couldn't radio us. We looked for couple hrs before finding him. Turned out one of the wires to the mic was broken inside the coating when he got snagged in the trees...
