I thought I saw a thread on this, but I can’t find it. I picked up some cheap scales and I want to try setting up my sleds suspension using them, but I can’t find any recommendations on how much weight should be distributed where. I know left to right ideally would be 50/50 but what would you...
Is that with the motor running as well? Or just ignition on. Might be that your engine compartment is shielded so the electrical noise from the engine doesn’t affect your radio? I have noticed that my remote doesn’t seem to quite work the way the manual days it should, seems to need more...
I have a custom fitted brace from when I had ACL surgery and a set of Asterisk motorcross braces, I wear the asterisk while sledding because they feel like they give my knees more support since they wrap around the whole knee instead of just having a few straps to secure them. They also have...
Ended up putting it in one of the storage compartments behind a rear seat. Everything fit nice. Kind of noisy right now, but once I get the seat back in it should be ok.
Did some searching and found anywhere from bolted to the frame to mounted inside the cab. Recommendation on the compressor is that it be kept from heavy exposure to wet and dirt so frame seems out, thinking inside the engine compartment might be ok, maybe then to much heat? Wondering where the...
I just changed out my adjustable post for the HCR fixed version. What a difference in feel. I had the Canada sled bushings on my adjustable and they got rid of the play in the bushing, but there was still a ton in the actual post. Something else to check if you haven’t already done it, is look...
I was was going to wait another year, but was picking up some parts for the sled and they had the new ones in the showroom.
Couldn't stop myself so guess I will be riding a new sled this year.
I looked at that but I am not sure about drilling a hole thru the remainder of the post and then putting all of the torque of the steering on what is left of the shaft. Might be fine, but I’d rather have the factory fixed post. Actually I would rather have the adjustable post, but between...
Need to know the height from ground to the pivot on the steering post where the riser attaches. My winter parking this year is only 79” clearance. Thinking if I replace my adjustable post with the fixed one, and lay the bars down I will have plenty of clearance.
Thanks in advance.
