They do need a resistor to run without lights... The ECU is on route to cat to be checked, if I fried it I just might give up on sledding! Two sleds in two seasons, 150 miles combined, into the sport for almost 10g now... Definitely not paying the price for a new ECU since I just got quoted...
Going through the sled as to why it runs funny and found my headlight switch is hooped so I woulda been running without lights... How fast does an ECU fry in these conditions? Just wondering if I should expect to be ordering more parts

Finally getting around to sorting out last seasons issues. When testing from +12 (yellow wire) I go straight to ground... Gotta obviously sort that out before I fry the ECU (if it's not already shot!). I've got the harness opened up pretty good, and in the process discovered many brown wires...
Old thread but how did you fix this? I'm "flooding" the same cylinder, EGT's are way off and there's loads of oily mess in that pipe (I'm running twins)... I got to ride my sled once before this started and it's a real bummer

Ecodiesel... I just love getting 27 mpg towing around a pwc! The Laramie package is super cozy to drive, heated steering wheel gets a two thumbs up from me.

The picture of the previous owner with his sled says it all... I'm gonna jump right on buying it! LOL

It's setup for 91 octane. 900 big bore with a boondocker box, pod air filters, vforce reeds, jaws twins, digitron egt gauge. It's setup for nitrous at elevation currently but I'm not using it and will be taking that off soon, my clutching is fairly close because of that... I wound up bringing it...
Just had the 06 M7 out for it's first ride in onterrible and damn she was getting hot fast. Do I need a low elevation map on the ECU? My local dealer didn't know for sure as he hasn't run into this before (bringing a sled from out west back here). It was originally setup for 6000ish ft, clutched...
Not yet I'm about to start digging around again. I just moved across the country so the sled hasn't exactly been a priority, however snow is good in Ontario this year! I'm wondering if I'm maybe leaning out the pto side and not flooding the mag side like I originally though? I'll be doing an...
Well in the end went with one of the top shippers in Canada on uship. $2200 BUT it's fully insured and he hasn't had a single negative review since he joined in 2010. I strongly feel you get what you pay for and I'd rather have the peace of mind that my babies will make it home safe! He had bid...
I'm from new Sudbury, left when I was 22. Moving to north bay now. There was a job opening in my trade that I couldn't pass up.

Anybody use this before? I'm looking to move a motorcycle and standup Jetski east so that I can handle my sled and a uhaul trailer.

If it's not over fuelling then maybe a really weak spark!? It does fire on that cylinder, just doesn't make any heat and when you pull the pipe she's full of gas.

I believe it to be over fuelling for sure! What I do know is this showed up after a rough landing where I fell off the sled, so I likely knocked something loose. I really hope I didn't fry the ECU. I've found and repaired a couple wiring issues, my injector wires ohm out good (boondocker side)...
