I got the 7 tooth with the shaft and clutching update Part # 0637-463. I'm back to running stock belt and I can actually touch the secondary clutch after riding for a while. Seems to have helped out. not to mention it feels like its got better bottom end now too.
Just a observation but the apex picture is deceiving. the track looks like its still on the round. does that scale have a max/min recall setting? Not denying the cat heavy just curious if that is the true apex weight?
i run one for work. the only complaint I have is when pulling it out on the dodge tail gate is that it not that smooth coming out. bouncy kind of like driving down washboard roads is the only way I can describe it. I think ply wood under it in the bed my help just haven't got to doing it yet...
im running a wrap on mine as well as a frog skin stick on vent kits same as factory. you can still see the decal pretty good. the wrap I install was only 300 and I installed it so I didn't mind cutting into it to put the vents on.
they have a 7 tooth driver with weights, springs and helix along with new shaft available from cat for the 1100s. got mine and a 2.6 track on order for this season. this should gear them down and help out with the belts as well.
