The enforcement thing is much greater this year as manitoba public insurance now has control of the trail passes. Up until this year it was looser, but now that there is some real money to be made they have both dnr and rcmp on the trails. Heard that one weekend there was over 60 fines handed out.
I think if you find a indy lite gt it would have most of the goodies you are looking for, they come with reverse, e start, and a longer track (133.5) than a normal lite.
Didn't you post this back some time ago? The only way you will put an aftermarket can on that sled is if you replace pipe and all, as the factory one is a one piece unit.
sorry, i forgot that if you get aftermarket twins for the 500 they don't use the y pipe, they use flanges. As for my can, like i said I made it to the same dimentions as my buds can, inside and out.
the y pipe has nothing to do with the pipe or can, and yes i forgot to mention that you could chop off the factory can/muffler and build your own. I made my own can for my rev last winter, i made it to the same dimentions of a buddies can on his summit. Sounds great to my ears and many others on...
I might be wrong on this one, but all the indy 500's that i had,(91 and 98) have had a one piece pipe/muffler so you can't put a can on unless you go to a aftermarket pipe.
Trail passes are not included in your insurance in manitoba.They were talking about doing it but no one could get their act together quick enough to get it done. So they are still seperate, $105 until dec 15th and $135 after.

I did my 4th at the local comunity college, as a nite class, and my 3rd was correspondance from sait. Just had to mail exams to them, and find a prof. (teacher, lawer, ect) to write my final in front of. Worked good for me, being that i am two provinces away.
