    How to: polish tunnels

Most auto parts stores will sell some form of Alumunum polish.Try Canadian Tire 1st, then if no luck try the Petro-Canada Cardlock on the North side of Kelowna, they use to stock a lot of that kind of stuff. Also is there not a Husky Cardlock/Truck wash on the North end of Kelowna too? In...

    How to: polish tunnels

Something as simple as T.S.P. in hot water will work ,although not my favorite. Spray Nine will work, another good product is Castrol Super Clean (although this is a little more expensive). Wet the tunnel down, spray the chosen cleaner on, wash off with hot soapy water & a wash mitt (note that...

    How to: polish tunnels

Are you using a aluminum cleaner before you start? What kind of cloth material are you using to polish with? This makes a big difference. 100% cotton works really good. Also, there is a product called Magic Mix that is easier to polish with & i find it has better results. If you polish twice a...

    Good Buy or Good Bye?

Did you see on kijiji, edmonton, a guy in Manning has a 2009 RMK 700 with very low miles but no price. Says he must sell immediately. Also look on cbbtrader.ca & you can look up the retail value of the 08 you are looking at. Either way you go, the 08 600 has more power & is about 50 lbs lighter...

Tires for a rig, what to pick

Looked at that size, not a lot of good choices in that tire size. Thanks to all who replied, have made a decision to go with Goodyear Duratrac, talked to a guy that does pretty much the same driving as i do & he has the same truck & has 93,000 kms, said if it was spring, he would probably get...

MPG increase? 2 stroke oil in gas ??

I too have been using two stroke oil in Cat truck engines & my 5.9 Cummins & the reason i started was on the advice of a Heavy Duty Mechanic that is retired from Finning.... he said it helps lubricate the pump & injectors with no issues of failure or clogging. He also said that the best he had...

Sled Pricing and Base Models - What do you really want in a sled?

Good post Modman, totally agree with u. I too will not spent the money on a new sled. Can i afford it, yes, but as you said, lot of things on them are not required. Bought a used 800 xp last fall, 450 kms... paid 8500, went all winter, no issues so far. Does it have everything? Pretty much! 1st...

    B.C Camp Ground Recommendations

Brae Island regional park in Ft. Langley is quite nice. Everything is clean, they have a swimming pool & of course a bike trail. I think they were expanding the trail system when i was last there. Ft. Langley is a nice little town too, kinda out of the way. Only sticky thing about staying there...
