Yes 3 sets in 4 days, I was P*ssed. The stock MTX track I might add was so folded over it would not dig into the snow and throw up any snow. The conditions were definately part of the problem. I know this is extreme but just goes to show if I would have had scratchers, would have never...
Summitseeker on Snowest. They are the best ones I have found. they are not reversible but I reversed with them and they did not break. I had slidekicks on before went through three sets. Slidekicks are garbage IMO. Royal distributing sells Hyperfax aswell as specialty sleds I think.
The XP is a 2 stroke , Yamaha Nytro 4 stroke, if you are looking for dependability the the Yamaha Nytro is the way to go. If it can last at 17 pounds of boost it should run stock forever.
As stated above unless your are 12 years old or are 80 lbs a phazer is not what you are looking for. The...
Anyone using the Cyclopse helmet lights? Either the Solstice HID helmet light or the H3-oo3 cigarette lighter helmet light.
Dont have a headlight on my Nytro and need something for Night riding.
Just run a Nytro turbo without a headshim and it will do just fine in the trees. They have a ton of bottom end and are very nimble with stock compression. The reason alot of people dont like the turbo Nytro in the trees is because the Headshim takes a little snap out of the motor due to the...
The only thing I dont like about Superchargers is that if you want to turn up your boost you have to change pullies. Turbo just crank up your boost controller. Lots of Supercharged sleds are not running headshims so you are limited to around 7 psi boost on pump gas, most turbo kits run a head...
Thats funny, because I went into specialty sleds shop last year to get a TEAM secondary for my 1000 summit, and they told me TEAM clutches were junk. I guess they had a change of heart.
I think this clutch will be pretty good. I did put the TEAM on my 1000 and it was awsome.
NO.
Weights, rollers, primary spring, secondary helix and secondary spring. I am not yet sold on the shockwave, Tuning RPM with secondary doesnt seem right to me. The setup they sold me works pretty good. No real need for the shockwave, may end up getting one though.
Sorry for hijacking your thread, I will stop.
I agree with you. You make some good points BDF #900. I was not too happy when I took my turbo on its maiden voyage to Golden (MM1). The clutching I was given was horrible, would barely pull hills that stock sleds would and it had 2 hose clamps...
Well where ever there is snow. Nov 25 to Dec 1st or Dec 9 to the 15th. Probably Mcbride in Dec for sure. Not sure about Nov. 25 this will depend on snow conditions.
