Summitric you keep comparing 18lb boost kit to a12lb boost kit. I don't see a flood of thier turbo customers rushing to thier defence, just a MOD ( who doesn't own a turbo and apperently cann't appreciate how frustrating these kits can be), playing VENDOR DEFENDER, and a loyal bigbore customer.

HMMMMMMM, I SEEM TO RECALL SOMEONE POSTING A PRICE OF $5500 FOR A KIT....... YOU KEEP TWISTING STORIES AROUND, AND NOT DOING A VERY GOOD JOB OF IT...... THIS IS MORE OF TRYING TO BASH AT SOMEONE, THAN REALISTICALLY DOING SOMETHING ABOUT THE WAY YOUR SLED RUNS. I'M NOT RUSHING TO THEIR DEFENSE, AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW THEM, BUT I DOO ASK, HAVE YOU HAVE TAKEN IT BACK AGAIN, TO SEE WHAT HAS HAPPENED??? THERE IS ALWAYS 2 SIDES TO EVERY STORY, AND RATHER THAN GET INTO PIZZING MATCHES, I SUGGEST YOU CALL THEM AND SEE WHAT THEY MIGHT BE ABLE TO DOO FOR YOU. I HAVE RIDDEN WITH SEVERAL CAT TURBOS, AND ONE EVEN BEING A MM KITTEN THAT WE HAVE RIDDEN WITH IN SICAMOUS AND I DON'T SEE ANY MORE TURBO CATS SITTING AROUND THAN POLARIS OR SKI-DOOS. HAVE YOU NOT WATCHED THUNDERSTRUCK 8, AS THERE ARE 3 OR 4 DIFFERENT TURBO KATS AND A COUPLE TURBO POLARIS'S IN WITH THE HOARDE OF YAMMI TURBOS.......YOU SURE ARE QUICK TO JUMP ON SOMEONE, AND YOU DO SOUND FRUSTRATED, SO I SUGGEST YOU CALL THE BOYS AT MM AND I BET THEY WOULD HELP YOU OUT, IF THEY CAN.....

P.S. I HEARD THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE, THAT WHEN YOU TOOK YOUR SLED BACK TO THEM, THEY RECALIBRATED YOUR COMPUTER ON ONE VISIT? AND THE OTHER TIME YOU HAD A BROKEN SPIDER IN YOUR CLUTCH................... IS THIS TRUE?

IF THIS CONTINUES TO JUST BE A BASHING, THEN THIS THREAD MAY GET CLOSED DOWN....:nono:

No Ric its not Verns Sled its another Gentlemens sled and yes there where and are issues with the sled and i nkow some of the issues and its not my place to say But if your building and selling Turbo kits you better know how to set the Turbo's up before they go out the door and this i Know 100% because it was my guy who fixed the Turbo and it was not even close to being set up right.....so hense why they don't work is because they are not setting the Turbo's up for thre applications.......

Mountain Magic $6500 Can 12lb boost 2 injector kit
Incase you didn't lookem up here they are, get where I'm goin with this

I'm not argueing that $5500 usd kit woukd cost $6500 canadian dollars, compare those two kits to each other then instead of the comparable $4000usd kit.
You get dual injector throttle bodies and injectors, cold air intake, clutching, muffler, and a blowoff valve besides same basic components of both kits.
For the same $6500 can., accepting your math, seems like a lot more kit for your dollar.
Don't think anything twisted going on here but hey just sayin.

Well where ever there is snow. Nov 25 to Dec 1st or Dec 9 to the 15th. Probably Mcbride in Dec for sure. Not sure about Nov. 25 this will depend on snow conditions.

Sorry for hijacking your thread, I will stop.

I agree with you. You make some good points BDF #900. I was not too happy when I took my turbo on its maiden voyage to Golden (MM1). The clutching I was given was horrible, would barely pull hills that stock sleds would and it had 2 hose clamps missing, blowing acouple of hoses off the back of the intercooler. I spent all night on a brand new sled in the trailer. If you cant set it up dont sell it. Stick to what you know.

It runs pretty good now. Called E & S and they took care of the clutching for me. Nothing $375.00 wont fix.

NO.

Weights, rollers, primary spring, secondary helix and secondary spring. I am not yet sold on the shockwave, Tuning RPM with secondary doesnt seem right to me. The setup they sold me works pretty good. No real need for the shockwave, may end up getting one though.

Ahh that'll do it. If it works now leave well enough alone.;):d

Both trips back also came with bill, sled still didn't work. After purchasing kit and having it installed at a cost of $11000, and two more visits at a cost of $1000 each, when do you draw the line and go elsewhere.

Asking myself how would you react when you found out it was going to cost $3000 plus to make it right.

Might use a public forum to warn others and try and prevent others from being seperated from their hard earned money.

Just sayin.....

I'll jump in and say i'd be breaking the door as i slammed it on the way out!! When a person lays 11 large down to have a job done and that person returns with issues, he better be looked after properly. Not some smoke screen that ends up costing the customer an extra couple of grand in further repair costs before the sled has hardly hit the snow. Especially after those issues were traced back to the original install to begin with!! Obviously their troubleshooting skills are poor. Higgins.
