I would not run 16 psi at sealevel on premium regardless if they say to or not. I was told that by eric that it is safe to run 15.7 at sealevel also but I would stick to 13 or 14 at sealevel and 17 psi at elevation on pump premium. You get alittle crappy premium and kiss your motor goodbye at...
I dont think anyone can Accuse THEBIGM of not spending his money at he local dealer. It hard times for alot of people. I bought my sled, raptor and rhino from there also. They took care of me everytime I needed something.
You have to be at 7000 feet and over to run 17 psi on Premium. Anything lower and you will blow you head gasket out, or worse throw a rod through the block. I hae run 17 psi on premium before at that elevation but I now mix in some av gas to be safe.
Exactly, anyone been to a confined space course, watch how many guys dont even go into the vessel and at the end of the day get the ticket. Just because you sat in one of these courses dont mean crap. It will give more knowledge but will it stop people from climbing where they should not. NO.
It is doable in by yourself. But it does take a while. Did mine this summer and it takes alot of time to do it right. Some places were only charging 800 bucks to change out the Nytro tunnel.
Yep get the 2010 162 and put the low boost 180 MCX kit on and you will be amazed. I would stay away from the supercharger personally. Lots of guys have issues with them, the MCX 180 Kit is impressive to say the least.
The 2010 Nytro is a really nice sled and the suspension works really nice...
100% go MCX. Their low boost 180 kit runs incredible. I am almost considering taking my Headshim out due to the throttle response. I would buy another MCX kit in a second. With the low boost kit its all pros and no cons.
Thats fine, I know you are still talking with him about the sled.
But that is not what I call a good first impression. Kind of made me look like a A Hole as I was the one who reffered him to email you about the sled. I told him that your Dealership seemed like a good place to get a sled...
Here is the reply from Terry at T&T powersports about the posted sled above by Femme.fatale.
My buddy offered him 7200 taxes in for the advertised sled above for 8000 thinking he would get a counter offer and this is the reply he got!!!!
"sure. and when u wake up and take off ur superman...
NO, this is a premium pump gas setup. 6 psi at sealevel on pump gas. It will probably be around 6.5 to 7 psi in and around Saskatchewan. The boost will go up as you go up in altitude.
They are Very lean at 5800-6500RPM and are rich on the top end. (Why do you think they are burning down all the time?) Get a PCV and run the program Dynotechresearch has for it. Without the programs stock it ran 144 HP with the program, richened up on the bottom and leaned out on the top end...
Check out Ratsled.com definately the best mod to the stock tunnel. The are out of BC. You can get a rear cooler for their kit aswell. Click on tunnel accessories.
My buddy's turbo was running out of fuel at 1500 feet at 5 psi boost with the stock fuel pump and injectors. You do not need the RB3 with the fuel pump and regulator upgrade. If you go with bigger injectors you will need it to pull fuel out of the bottom end and you will need the RB3 to do that.
Here is what I run:
8BU-00 wieghts fully loaded
14.5 mm rollers
BWB primary spring
Shockwave 2 turns out
EPI purple spring.
this is on a MCX kit 14 psi boost.
