Don't do it. We did the same thing, and what a pile of work. Really.... gotta keep the boss happy. We got two rock that weight about 4500#-5000# each. What a trailer load!!! Sorry, the place were I got these ones is not available anymore.(New owners) Good luck
My winter was cheap compared to the rest of you guys! Bunch of fuela and some hotels. Stayed with friends some, and that helps. Still gotta buy a new hood! Lots of great riding. Hope next year is as good!!!
Cheers.
I bet that we could have used the 1.2 BILLION for health care or detb reduction. With that and scraping the gun registry, (another VERY big # per year) there might be money for usefull things. Its all over tommorrow, so get off your fat a$$ and vote.
Till next year(election)
Cheers
Re: closing "At Home" B&B til next Season
Hey Leona,
Enjoy your summer. Hope you have a good one. Be safe on the roads. I think that you have set the bar a whole bunch higher on what to expect from B@B's. Thanks again for your hospitality and we look forward to you stay with you next year...
Check out David's vintage sled site. There were close to 200 brands world wide over the years. There were lots of sleds that were built in large garages etc. There were sleds built by one company and makerted by others. Polaris built sleds for a company and they put their glass on them and...
I chased the money for a while. Never checked on a month but had 225hrs in two weeks. Worked 40 nights in a row once. Had one year in the late 1990's with over 1000 hrs (OT) for the year. I missed every family occasion that year. Kid was scared of me cause she saw less of me than the milk...
There is no simple answer. You need a variaty of stuff for all interests. No matter what someone is going t be real happy and someone will bitch about it. As for the comment that nobody goes to see the vintage stuff, someone forgot to tell the masses that vote each year. Try to enjoy all...
Start up after sitting would be more wear that shutdown!. Things dry out when they sit, even with oil. Some oils are better for storage. (like fog oil)
You can't really compress a liquid! I think water compresses like .5 to 1 % at 50,000 psi. All you can do is displace a liquid. You can push the oil out of rod or crank bearing, but then they fail. (metal on metal) There is only 0.001" - 0.003" or so of clearance in a beearing. (Obviously...
The first avy was at Trout Lake last year. West facing slope and really steep. The mountain road (Narrow) was all it took for the trap. Really glad he was OK.
I am really tired of being sick! Two nose and throat infections and the Flue in the past several weeks. Anyone else having $hitty luck with the winter health. At least i haven't skipped a cog in the Ol' noodle.... Yet!
I bought a Peips DSP and am very happy with it. Easy to use. Turned it on and handed it to a buddy that had not seen one before and he had the beacon buried in the back yard in under a minute. Good point trailblazer. Don't cheap out on the avy gear. Get the best and work hard at never...
Call Leona, her B@B is called, At Home B@B and if you look on the McBride riding thread you will get her # She doesn.t mix groups and has the best meals anywhere. We have changed the name to Better Than At Home B@B! Give her a call. You WILL never stay in a hotel again!
Cheers!
We have got the recall letter from the dealer that the sled was sold in the States. This is were you need and American friend. He/She buys the sled and regesters it and then sells to you as used. One way around the no new sales thing. Have to do the math to make sure it is worth the hassles...
Went out to Saiks last night. It is very impresive. I can't imagine just how many people it take to do what they are doing! Good on em. Go out and dump some cash in the bucket for a good cause! There are not many people that have not had their lives touched by cancer in some way or another...
