Just an FYI, you do not need to prove that the sled is yours. You can haul it around with no paperwork all you want. It is up to the RCMP to determine that there is reason to believe that the sleds in the trailer you are pulling are stolen (through police report or filed off vin etc...)...
What they said.... Need a red light visible from up to 150m (in the dark) or a red cloth flag (daylight only) for any load extending 1.2m or more past the outside limit of the main body of the vehicle as per the BC motor vehicle act Division 4.2.
Can any body tell me how to see the total hours on my '13? for some reason when I scroll through, only trip hours comes up, which I reset to 0. Sorry for the hijack but you guys are messing with the gauge right now so I figured this would be a good place to ask
The best part of riding the island is that in many places, the only tracks you come across are your own. So little traffic makes for unreal powder riding.
Maybe we shouldn't be letting the cat out of the bag here.... ;)
Picking mine up from my dealer tomorrow. New fuel pump installed. Dealer says that BRP called today requesting details on the failure, sounds like impending service bulletin/recall. I'm going to see what I can rig up to stop the oil tank from hitting the fuel line in the mean time.
Same thing happened to me on the weekend, first ride with my e-start XM. stopped for a piss break and could smell gas, pulled the side cover off to find the return fuel line broken right off at the nipple. The dealer is replacing the fuel pump as we speak.
