I ran a mtntk fix kit last winter turbo at 9 pound, no problems..
But when I was assambling with reman cylinders it, the pistion clearance was to tight, .0039
Got the cylinders honed to .0055 then gaped the rings to the large side of the spec.
Pump gas and turbos even at low boost is asking for trouble, I would just run it on 100ll av gas as it not much more money then 93. 100ll,8 pounds of boost, no timing key. Is this kit have a intercooler??
I drove back from Plam Spring this weekend, diesel was 3.65 to 3.99 a gal. Even in GreatFalls it was 3.99, California was about 4.05 to 4.10, but didn't buy fuel there. We are getting bent over up here on fuel prices.
My main go to rifle is a Sako 85 Hunter in 30-06. Smooth, and accurate. The longest kill was 312 yards, but I've took shots a gongs out to six hundred yards before with hand loads.
The tracks where on the sleds, and the tension was set to factory specs.
Still with the different compounds in the track it's not a true test.
Mark Hoffman has been selling belt drives as long as I can remember.
Just because it's new, does not mean it's better.
L8ter.
