Ice storm ones aren't too bad. I think they need more down pressure. I am really impressed with the skidoo t3 scratcher. Lots of down force. Best scratcher I have tried to date. About 85 bucks at your local skidoo dealer.
Grab a screw driver pick and enlarge the bottom of the cap. It will break away the ball valve mechanism. Your cap will breath. I rolled my sled last week and it was upside down for about 20 seconds. I maybe lost one or two drips of oil. Done and free.
Cataract area was thin but not surprised We headed further south and snow pack had doubled or tripled. Made for some nice riding before the trails get wooped to death.
I did the EricW from snowest fuel filter with all the napa parts. 100 dollars in parts and some creative routing and your good to go. Now it is a 20 dollar change.
When I removed the old one I could not blow through the filter. New napa filter was easy to blow through.
Picked up a set of ice storm and so far they rock. Picked them up from teth-air in calgary. I did see he had replacement arms if they ever got broken. Nothing so far tosses more snow.

Although most slopes around that fording pass are unstable.
If you are snowchecking a new polaris you can get the assault custom with narrow ski stance and aluminum over structure and extra front cooler. Check out snowest as a few have ordered this setup. Polaris has really allowed a custom sled this year.
I did the doo stat and noticed a huge difference. Used to be around 130 on the trails. Now the temps are around 116 on thin snow. Only works when you have some speed kicking up snow on the coolers.
