I would. Based on what I saw when I cut mine open.

Yours is easier to do.

The filter looks like a regular inline filter

I'd get a clear one so a guy can see it inside

Looks like 5/16 or 3/8 fuel line

I'll run it a year again and change it

I did the EricW from snowest fuel filter with all the napa parts. 100 dollars in parts and some creative routing and your good to go. Now it is a 20 dollar change.

When I removed the old one I could not blow through the filter. New napa filter was easy to blow through.

One question , is the stock filter more micron filter capacity than a universal fuel filter for say a carb

Cause injectors do not like dirt at all

The Napa one is close to the stock one, I am not all that comfortable with using the aftermarket clamps in case they come loose on a wide open pull, the fireball would be huge! There is a thread on snowiest with all the part # to do it if you want to give er a whirl.

We recommend replacing the filter every fall. We have had multiple engines go because the filter was plugged or very restricted. We really started noticing this issue when people started running ethanol gas. Also the filters used to be right around the $200 mark but Polaris dropped the price on them, I believe last winter. Polaris MSRP is 130.99 CAD, thats for the 2013-2015
