Got a call today that a GT came available. Couldn’t resist trying one out even with all the ghosting issues. Might have to put a leash on it [emoji1787]. Love it so far. Makes the XR feel like a 1/2 ton with a V6.
Also swapped the tire on the XR back to the Hoosier whisper. Anyone on here want...
No, I wouldn’t say too big. Just the pint has easy stop and XR does not. Easier to learn dismounts. With easy stop on the pint you just stop the board and lean backwards and board stops. With the XR you need to stop the board and do a heel lift on the front foot pad to get off the board. Both...
Pint for him and XR for you. My son started on the XR and now rides the pint. He hates riding the XR now he has the hang of the pint. Depends on your size you could get away with a pint as well.
The old XR’s may jump back up in price if the GT is as underwhelming as most of the reviews I’ve seen so far. I’ll wait a bit longer before getting a GT. Website claims if you order today it ships in April.
Supply issues and a new model coming out is what I was told. Awesome company, ordered a set and the foam had a slight tear in it around the frame. They sent out a new frame immediately.
More torque! gripier grip tape!! I'm sold, hahaha. I'll let the California kids get the first batch and see what the kinks are. There were a few river banks I climbed this summer with the XR that I thought It could of used some more jam.
Here's the issue with ordering in the spring, I ordered one in the spring from my dealer. I didn't snow check a sled. The part number in the spring is different than what is available now. System still shows my order in on a part number that doesn't exist.
If buying again I would not purchase a wood footpad again. I would go with a plastic option, the wood fit poorly. Likely warped from our dry climate. A belt sander to the bottom of the pad fixed it up. I've read mixed reviews on the front foot pads. Sounds like not many of the aftermarket...
