I run a Canada Sled Parts rack on our doos with the Snowbunje bag. The bag fits perfectly in the rack, on/off with quick clips, and is expandable. I like the racks that Kurt builds because you have options to what u can haul - the rods can be moved around - and it also helps strengthen the tunnel.
The club maintains over 400 km of trail, most of which has been groomed at least once this season so far. There are tons of pipelines, power lines, cut lines and off trail play areas along the trail system. The snow is decent here but we can always use more. More info and maps avaliable at...
11 of us today went from eagle river staging area to Gundy cabin clearing trail. Piles of willows. 9 hours to clear 40km of trail that was already cleaned once this fall.... Now ready for the groomer.
I miss racing.... can't wait for Phoenix. Ran across this pic of Harvick signing my #4 hat before going out and winning the race last March. Good times...
Met Chris Doumit this past June up in Dawson City on a Saturday off... Crew of us rode our Harleys up there for the longest day of the year. He is a super down to earth guy and had very good things to say about Parker. Shot the breeze and told each other some bulls%*t stories. Good dude ....
I have seen multiple t-motion failures. Three on one machine. Guys I ride with have all had them reinforced with an angle iron welded on and we all carry spares that are reinforced. Overkill maybe but better to have it ready in case of a failure I figure.
I haven't used them myself but have friends that will go nowhere but After Dark. I have a local buddy here in Whitecourt that does my work... the things I won't tackle myself. He took the Harley training at Fairview college and works on all types of Harleys in his garage at home full time...
Lestoil is great for removing stains like crude oil on coveralls. You can buy it at Canadian Tire in the household cleaners section. Pour a bunch on and let them soak... then maybe blast them at the car wash before taking them to the laundry mat.... worth a try.
My advice would be to get either machine but spend a little more to get a newer sled with an e-tec engine. It will be money well spent. If you can swing it, a freeride 137 with the 2-1/4" lug is a great all around sled.
Just did a search on my Telus guide and nothing comes up for Nascar so I guess I will have to catch the highlights of the banquet on the web. Man I miss speed channel. Sure wish Telus would get speed back or offer fox sports.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY Harvick!! Finally a championship. Just shows he's got the talent. Too bad that RCR couldn't quiet supply the resources to get it done for him while he was there. Although, Newman did pull off second place... Good stuff for Harvick and the whole SHR organization.
