There are some cool pics in here. I really like the ones of guys without helmets..... the only people who like those ones more than me are the people trying to get riding areas closed.
Great product. I always plug my pan heater and block heater in together. Valve covers on my duramax are warm to the touch on a -30 morning.
I'd rather run the pan heater than the block heater if I had to choose one. These motors need oil to "squirt". Anyone whos seen cold oil knows there...
Yeah I've heard that if you hand over the keys, it won't be considered stolen.
There are some pathetic parents out there, raising kids who do things like this.
Then again look at how the politicians rip everyone off, morals are rare these days.
Just a heads up, a member over on duramax forum ( from Calgary ) just posted that he had a local GM mechanic do injectors after hours and the guy screwed up, ended up costing him a bunch of cash. If you're into it, apparently there's a way to fit up LBZ heads ( and injectors) on the LLY...
I always keep all my gear in big bins - makes it easy to load / unload, and keeps it all clean and dry. There's usually a few jerry cans in there too so it all works well.
I wouldn't say it's sealed, but the bins stay clean and dry.
Bolts through the legs, made sure that they would go through the "c" channel that supports the bed. I put a small chunk of rubber under each leg, and those 4 places are the only contact to the truck.
You are lucky to be running a tune that big without limping your trans yet. Some trucks take a beating better than others, and different driving habits play a role, but it's irresponsible of you to tell someone they can safely run 500 rwhp tune. That's a full 200 hp over stock.
The...
That's about it. I've ran a few tanks of fuel from each place and I seem to get the same mileage all the time.
I run a liter of two stroke oil in my fuel, I've read good things about it helping lubricity ( now that we have ULSD ( ultra low sulfur diesel )) I use the stuff from wally world...
Calling a collision or crash an "accident". There are very few accidents, 99% of these are human error with a cause such as tailgating, speeding, distracted driving, or any number of other causes.
The number 1 example of this is the first snowfall. 400 " accidents " every year on the...
I think I'm going to have a Yukon Grizzly installed in my truck. ( Dmax ). I've read a lot of reviews from different people and it seems like the detroit truetrac would be a great choice too, however there are times when it will still do the one wheel peel, which I am sick of and I'm...
I thought I'd post this in here for you balance-deficient quadders ;)
Cornergrass Racing is hosting a race, check out the poster!!
Event Poster - CORNER GRASS Blog - A new form of offroad racing is upon us!
I have an upper body armor thing that has roost guard, elbow, and spine protection built in. Cheap shin / knee guards, and most important the padded bike shorts to keep the boys in check... a little padding for the bum doesnt hurt either, I don't ride enough to get used to that seat....
I just bought tires for my Wifes suv from Ryan. Great guy to deal with and his pricing is the lowest I've seen. A bunch of the guys from work are running Hankook RF10's from him and are really happy.
What about finding a shorty and swapping motors and mods over then sell this one? That way the labor would be way less and you can keep all the goodies.
200k seems pretty early for injectors, I thought the LLY's had less problems than the LB7's with injectors. I run some 2st oil in my fuel when I think of it, but I don't know if you should blame yourself for not putting any in.
If you find out that it's a turbo, you should be able to find...
