I have had good luck with UFA batteries, replace the last two diesel trucks batteries with them and have had zero issues. YMMV. I have not had great luck with the red tops, I have been through four.
Wondering what you guys use for a sled camp heater? My preference is diesel, a tank is already installed. Our sled camp is 10X40 and has a room on each end.
What heater do you recommend, where did you get it and how much did it cost?
Thanks,
Indy.
I have a '98 Indy Trail and it will not rev up. It will fire right up and idle when I go to rev it up it dies. Changed the coil and fuel pump (From a friends 500), fresh fuel - did not help. What else could it be? It revs just past clutch engagement and if I give it anymore fuel it dies...
Thank-you for posting this list. We got burned this winter going into Hassler with the old channels (I didn't realize they changed - Should have known).
I agree with having this info on the club/Area site to help us "out-of-towners" get there safely.
^^^^^^^
Do you have a copy of the list you could put on this thread? Otherwise if you can please PM me with that list. I want to make sure that I get all the channels and not some ones interpretation of the channels that I need.
Here are pics of my 2010 M8 SP secondary clutch. 200 miles. Causes? Warranty? Never noticed any issue riding it. Please see photos of the clutch face that has been rubbed through, rubbed through in three places. Belt looks fine.
Had the same BS trying to buy Grey Cup tickets on Kijiji.
Same deal: wanted a wire transfer through western union, doesn't have a phone, can only use e-mail and on and on. The wife told him to take a hike and he started threatening her and told her he was coming for her. I got involved and...
I have a Klim Gear'd helmet. It is one of the nicest helmets I have ever had. I have only ever owned HJC before this. It has a removable liner so you can wash and dry it by pulling on a few snaps. It has a lot of vents for summer riding and another wind liner that snaps in for winter to...
Sorry for not addressing the OP. Having said that:
I would volunteer for my area to update the numbers at least quarterly; but I may have another option:
Usually locals have a better handle on who to talk to when it comes to SAR and Helis. It will become a pain in the A$$ if everyone asks...
It would be nice to have a thread with the numbers to SAR / Helicopters and add them to the top of each riding area as a sticky.
These posts would need maintenance to ensure the numbers were accurate...
I ordered some Klim gear. Good service but I was charged duty when it was shipped across the border so I could have bought in Canada for the same price.:o
Issues were quickly resolved over the phone.
