Shaun’s suggestion for the lms bumper fits the description for you. It has the swing up like the g4 and is built tough. I think this would be a good fit if you decide to go aftermarket.

That’s what I have in my garage. Managed to find a used one. Frees up so much space. I throw the bikes up in the winter and the sled up in the summer.

Get out your heat gun, lay heat directly on the head of the bolt for a while, work the bolt in and out a few times. Do the same for the other side making sure you have the previous side tight then loosen one bolt so it’s out about a 1/4” and go to the other side and start to loosen that one...

What makes the sidewinder handle so much better? Aren’t they built on the same chassis and have different frontends? Forgive me for all the questions I don’t have much knowledge when it comes to the Yamaha stuff. I’m just interested to see what has changed so much?
