So wasn’t exactly right, my intel from dealer wasn’t perfect, but it works.
I plugged it right in. It ran super hot on 1 circuit. If you want the option of 2 settings, splice it in pretty easy.
on the sled side, black is ground, green/white stripe is hot.
Take it or leave it, pretty easy...
Not really a tech tip but,
2012-2018 replacement handwarmer element is $84-110 dealer pending. A 2019 replacement part handwarmer, same plug is $20. A tad bit different design.
Your welcome. Now take your savings, and buy an ASA trail pass you delinquents lol
Ive bought a Club Membership in bc every year for the past 5 seasons. Previous to that, I always paid a trail pass for where I was riding that given day. Reason for the membership the first 2 seasons, my work schedule changed, I could get out more, and it saved me $5 at other BCSF club...
Best sled: All of them except 1. 1978 skidoo Olympique, 1980 Polaris 440, 1994 Indy 500, 1994 Indy lite 340, 1995 xcr 440, 2003 Polaris 800, 2009 M1000, 2016 m8000. Can’t say I’ve had a bad day on any of these sleds.
Worst POS ever: 1993 AC wildcat 700efi. Couldn’t keep a crank in that sled. 4...
When I came off my M1000 and onto my 16, I was disappointed at first how the 16 handled. I thought it was a tank and not much easier to ride than the 09.
However, there is a ton of adjustability in the suspension, take the time to play with settings/setup. It’ll get to the point you’ll be able...
PM ippielb. He runs a charger. He’s done clutch tuning as well. And he’s usually happy to share info.
I burn less fuel now at 7lbs with my turbo than I did stock.
Update to my post. I did go with Redline, very pleased. For mine, ported heads and a modified pipe, there was a little bit of tuning, basically just had to play with clutching/spring rates and get her cranked up to 7lbs and it was seamless.
If anybody has questions pm me.
Ha, we have no problem finding our way around thanks. And there was lots to be had. You guys went by the 2 of us right before the cabin. We were having a pop during the snow storm.
Eagles, Parked at km1 parking lot. Coverage is getting sh**ty for the first 7 Kms. Last 7 before cabin is getting whooped bad. Overall though, I’d say it’s in ok condition. After today, you could probably deck it to km3.
Those pics, that’s where I dumped in. Google earth is so discieving, I thought I could get to the lake, go down the valley, up into alpine, and possible pop back up into the glacier. No dice, not for me anyhow. Will I go again? Doubtful, didn’t open up enough area to make the chance worth while.
I did it on a deep day. Needed all 200hp and a little luck to get back up. Been on my bucket list, did it on a day when I had enough money for a chopper ride. I consider it extreme, it may not be, as I seen tracks up and over the finger shoots, that’s just crazy. I’d come down those shoots with...
