Any new 2016-2017 M8000 holdovers out there

Anyone know of any new 2016-2017 M8000 holdovers that are available at a screaming good deal? I checked a variety of shops online and didn't see anything that stood out. I'm mainly interested in a 153 x 3"...but I'll look at anything.

Dealers want way to much for 16-17s. better off buying a gently used 16-17 limited or mountain cat.
Guy was selling a 2016 limited brand new with 4km on it for 7400 on kijiji a couple of days ago.
Bought my 17 mountain cat with 1200km on it, c3 belt drive, mbrp can and still under warranty for 7000 in july.

Thanks...I have seen all those ads and I already called the young whipper snapper in Sundre...sounds like he likes to jump a lot and the tunnel is out of alignment with the track...Lol.

I picked up a used 2017 M8000 Ltd...looking forward to the 6" narrower ski stance than my M1000.

Now I just have to figure out how to get all the body panels back on after I did a complete tear down...Its a bit of a jigsaw puzzle compared to the M1000.

When I came off my M1000 and onto my 16, I was disappointed at first how the 16 handled. I thought it was a tank and not much easier to ride than the 09.
However, there is a ton of adjustability in the suspension, take the time to play with settings/setup. It’ll get to the point you’ll be able to use slight knee bend to as little as toe pressure in your boot to be able to flip machine around.

Nice, did you pick up one in alberta or bc? At most the ski stance difference is 4.5"(quite substantial) if you went to the narrowest setting on both sleds. I would not start out at 34.5" on the limited right away, try it in the middle at around 36 and go from there.

I picked the sled up in Alberta.

You are correct about it being approx 4.5 inches difference between the two narrowest settings. The problem is I bought the 09 two years ago and I don't believe the previous owner ever removed the skis. The skis are in the centre position, not he narrowest, and the spacers/bushings are frozen onto the bolt and cannot be removed without destroying the ski. We have had two different beer drinking sessions trying to get the skis off, everyone thinking that their method of removal was going to work...none of them did...LOL.

I'm definitely going to try them in the different positions.

I had the same issue with a set of M skis.

Had that on a Nytro once, stuck on there since 2010... ended up cutting off the ski bolt...

Princess auto sells a die grinder looking tool that reciprocates a hacksaw blade. used it to cut leaf spring bolts. worked great

Yep happened on both the wife's 10 hcr and my old 09 1000, just pounded out the bushings on the hcr this weekend and put my sons 2015 skis/bushings on it. did my 09 a few years back.
Best to remove your skis when new and spray fluid film in there, you'll never have that issue again.
Plus instead of flexing on the bolt they will actually flex on the axle as intended.
I know the older skis are crap for powder but wife doesn't get into to much anyhow and they were free since I put the 2018 kit on his 2015.

Asking price was $6000...one year newer and same amount of miles, also has an MBRP can.

Took off the Y-Pipe to check the pistons and cylinder and used a scope to check the top of the piston...everything looks great.

It's not a trailer queen, but so far so good...as far as my disassembly inspection.
