The 06 had one of the most reliable motors doo made in the last 10 years. I wouldn't be that concerned with 3000 kms. My brother in law has the red 06 adrenaline, just like the one in the ad, and has almost 5000 kms on it. We regreased the pto crank bearing last year, and double checked the...
You can buy the 2 sided remote. It has a full keyboard on the opposite side. This remote comes standard with the more expensive models. I was able to download the Samsung app for my Android.

Rowdy,
Have you checked to see if your torsion springs will push down on the scratcher end when your suspension squishes? By the looks of it, the scratchers would most likely just pop off the rails and into the snow, but it might be worth checking. You may have to mount them further ahead or...
Mine was tough too, but if I remember right, there are dedicated spots where you put a screwdriver into and twist. Do you have the service manual? I will see if I can find it in mine.
There was one comment on it from NM:
So what was dangerous about sitting at the bottom of those chutes at Yamafest? Have you ever seen those chutes in person? Do you know they slide on ther own often?
There is a huge difference between sitting at the bottom of a big open hill with a terrain...
One thing nobody has commented on.... Most of the chutes that the turbo sleds climb in the videos these days are so steep and skinny that they don't hold a large volume of snow. This is due to either frequent natural slides or gravity not allowing enough buildup. Most slides seem to happen on...
The joy of GPS coordinates.... I deal with them all of the time, but when someone doesn't specify the mode they are using, or worse, uses the wrong indicators in the numbers, it can be tough. I ran into this years ago, when I was entering in the coordinates from the Revelstoke maps. They were...
What he said... You should be able to do this in Mapsource or Basecamp. As well, I would be very surprised if Garmin didn't have a way to get the Topo Canada maps onto the device. Have you tried highlighting the maps you want on the device in Mapsource or basecamp, and then uploading the...
That is an XP thing. You have to really pull down on the back of the sled to get rid of all of the air. Even the old REVS did the same thing, but not as much.

I have noticed in the newer documentation that it says not to inflate the bag during the yearly test, and I am wondering if this is the case with the older bags as well?
Warranty service is always manufacturer direct with DB. If we weren't Direct Buy members, I would have furnished the house at the typical retail stores, keeping my eye on flyers for deals. We wouldn't have been able to get the quality that we did using DB. I cringe at the thought of how much...
I have been a member for a while now. We built a house, and used a builder that allowed us to provide materials. The retail prices direct buy uses to compare are always the msrp when the product first came out, so sometimes they are a bit high, but the savings are still substantial. Windows...
There are 2 different packages from BRP. The rear suspension upgrade is for the 08 and 09 154's, and comes with new rails and a longer center shock. This is supposed to put less pressure on the front of the sled. In 2010, this was stock. The S-36 package is a front suspension upgrade that gives...
DaveB on this forum did the 7/8" drop, but also dropped the rear mount 1" using Smittys brackets. It was posted here: https://www.snowandmud.com/forum/f123/first-ride-09-xpx-9753.html Post#39.
I'm not sure how close to the 2010 setup this would make the 2008, but would be curious to get some...
