I thought about just opposite, change mine 163 to 153, I am not a strong guy and can't steer 163. We may swap skids and tracks one day. Though I am not sure about tunnels, swap tunnels could be a time consuming job.

Would be an interesting project sled. But you will need a new bulkhead (for engine), +front susp, + steering column + new tunnel. Try to find these parts, then take all guts from your 98 RMK and install it. I may try completing the same project, once I got retired. Good luck.

There is nothing wrong with the stock track. Spent money on something else....on shocks, stock sucks

Which oil guys do you think less "pukey" and doesnt burn eyes? Polaris said their oil smells like strawberry, just got a gallon but hasn't tried it yet. I know RedLine isn't too bad but I cant find it in Calgary, Crappy Tires do not sell it anymore. May be Shell? Its written on their cans...

Couldn't grab a POlaris for my wife, basically it's too powerfull beast, XM is built for females and looks kinda girlish, sorry guys don't want to offend anyone. Perhaps, I should buy something neutral like SHELL oil and use it for both sleds. Thanks for help guys.

I am getting sick when riding on XPS, eyes tears and headache, I think I am allergic to it . May I use Polaris Synthetic OIL on XM? I have both PRO and XM, would be very convenient to me use the same oil for both sleds. Or you guys still think that Amsoil and Shell way better then POlaris...

I tried some "ultra-light" bulbs, and finally got back to stock bulbs. Once got into snowstorm couldn't see anything through snow with these bulbs.

I always thought that such an old motor from 98 doesn't have any nickasil inside. Would be happy to be wrong, though

i dont think M7 has a bad fuel economy, it has EFI motor as far as remember. So fuel economy greatly improved compare to previous suzuki carb motors. You dad would be easily driving somewhere between 45-80miles mainly depending on snow cover.

Welders once got enough experience usually do pretty good, thought you need to be a professional as anywhere else....
