Had a 1999 700 rmk stretched out from 136 to 151 using skid out of a 2001 800 rmk. Something is not right and it won't compress at all. Even removed the shock and no movement. I think the guy who did it assembled the skid wrong but I don't know which part. I need pics of one properly assembled to compare it to. Any help is appreciated.

Does anyone even know if the 2001 151 rmk skid was an extra 10 or if it will even work in the 99 chasis?

check the rear brackets if they were not put in the right position the suspension will not compress. most off the time taking a 136 - 151 requires the movement off the rear brackets. remove the bolts from the rear bracket and see where the rod ends up when you set the back down

I've had Rolaris SKS 700 2001 as far as I remember I had extra-10 rear susp.
Later I managed to upgraded it to Edge susp. Bought whole skid and installed it. Reason for that is: got two rear shocks from the ebay and seller didn't tell me that rear end of Gen2 and Edge are different. Shocks very good and I've decided to swap the whole skid.
Gen2 was a really good sled, after some mods got 180 km/h on speedo, driving on icy road with studs.
Had 14 000km on it, neither I neither next guy had no problems with the engine

Tanks looks like that was the problem. Moving the rear back about and 1 1/2" just need some new brackets.
