    Whats everyone using for beacons?

We use a the pulse because we found it the easiest to use and they have been one off the benchmarks for a beacon to be compered against for a few years now. More important that what beacon you get is that you commit to learning how to use it and practice as often as you can.

mid June Fix in Fernie, BC

I wish the snow was a bit softer, that thing would pull like a freight train.... 85mp++ track speed right away. Linderman installed the turbo kit a few days before and till this sled I have always been a big bore advocate. this sled might have changed my mind. Nice build.

    m-7 running rough

My old m7 would sometimes act up and it turned out to be the smart valves not opening on the fuel tank. The fuel pickups have a smart valves on them that does not let air into the fuel system. Check to see if they are good by pushing the valve closed and then lettin them spring back. Good luck

We ride till July and start back up in late October/November so I just run it down to about a 1/4 and make sure and fire the sleds up once a month. I also make sure and spin the track in the Summer to make sure the bearings stay lubed up.

any one else tried an xm and not liked it?

I get to ride all of the big 3 and a hand full of Yamaha's, and I would be happy on any one of them. I really think people should spend more time worrying about whether their dealer takes care of them and sets up a sled well. I have to ride clients sleds often and they want to try mine for a...

    Fernie conditions

I always feel safer on my sled then I do skiing, because skiing/boarding you still need to expose yourself to slopes, although the ski hill does great work controlling the slides I would rather spend time in the trees on relatively flat ground. This week we have see slides that went over...

What would you do in this situation??

I would help if it slid. when I see people in danger I make a point of going over introducing myself, asking if they are from around here, offering some local knowledge and from that point if they still feel safe I respect that they may have a different safety threshold then I feel safe with...
