Whats everyone using for beacons?

My group all uses the new Pieps DSP Pro. Very good range, only one better is the barryvox by about 10m meters in a test in our avy course. Very simple and user friendly which I believe is better in a bad situation.

I would recommend it to anyone.

We use a the pulse because we found it the easiest to use and they have been one off the benchmarks for a beacon to be compered against for a few years now.
More important that what beacon you get is that you commit to learning how to use it and practice as often as you can.

the best beacon is only as good as the person using it, i totaly agree, i trust my pulse and i have one as a back up as well, but its the ability to use the beacon, go out and time yourself practicing and after a few hours run the same beacon test, it is shocking how much faster all of our group got another point to make, is please do a beacon check every time, we have caught a few people not turning them on and a few that were not working please ride safe everyone
