That looks like a big wet dirty one. Seen a few like that in the Kootenays before.

i guess i should clarify.. I was wondering if it crossed the creek as well as the road. Just to know if we can expect coal creek to back up..

Ya, I could see something like that plugging up the waterflow for a couple of weeks if not tended to... could this be a real issue down the road?
i guess i should clarify.. I was wondering if it crossed the creek as well as the road. Just to know if we can expect coal creek to back up..

There was two more slides like this one up mathason creek as well. One of the was about a 100m wide at the road.

There have been some massive slides in the last couple of days, don't trust anything. Conditions are there for more to come down. RIDE SAFE.

Alexander creek had a couple like this as well on the east side of the river a monster came across the trail and down a several hundred feet into the timber. Also was riding on the west alexander area and had a remote triggered slide relese when I got to the end of the trail. Crown was probably 4-5 feet high and anywhere from 100-200 meters wide took a couple decent sized pines with it.
