I Just wanted to thank modrods.com for the great customer service they provided to myself after I received the wrong boards at the edmonton show. So many people use this site to complain (myself included) and not enough of us tell our stories of the good service we get. Anyway the product id...
Brent cut the backside out of the cluster cover to make enough space for the switch components and mounted the front half of the switch to the plastic, he also put some foam behind the hi/lo beam switch to prevent snow from getting behind the switch. Really easy to use and now he cant hit the...
I can check my own track tension but shouldn't have too. If i sell you tires and put ten pounds pressure in can i blame you for not checking cause its an easy job? I took the sled directly from the dealer to vale, dealer said it was good to go and no inspection was required. If the dealer is...
Ya 15 grand later for a freeride and the service dept is changing my attitude pretty fast. In there defence the sales experience was great and the follow up was top notch. But is that loose? my 08 manual says something like 2 inches with 20 pounds hanging on the track or something like that...
Since i'm on this little rant, do you think the dealer would check track tension? I noticed a noise on decel and down hills like the track was looose. lifted up the skid and the track hangs down about 6 inches with no weight. I'm pretty sure thats really loose?
A guy i work with mounted his to the plastic just below the cluster by splitting the switch then mounting it flush. seems to work great and its super clean. Ill post pics tomorrow.
mine has a hesitation with the mbrp can at that elevation but its really intermitant. hope it clears after break in. only has 90 miles. ps does anyone know how to change the speedo/milage from miles to km's/
Rode this weekend and used around 33% less fuel than the other three sleds in our group and rode more (48 miles) on the first day. Freeride was brand new and if this keeps up someone else can carry fuel for a few years. I'm sick of fuelling up the cats. Fyi- the other sleds were a 2012 m8, 2007...
lost all my doo cans mounted the way the instructions and pics show. Re-mounted them backwards and haven't lost one since. I have picked up a few on the trail so i hope people keep mounting them that way. I noticed all the 12's at martin had them mounted backwards when i was there tonight. fyi.
kind of thought i would leave the limiter out more only because i like to pull the skis up over the bigger bumps and it makes jumping easier, not a big climber anyway. I did buy the adjustable limiter for my 08 and never put it in, just don't want to take apart a brand new skid.
Just brought my 12 freeride 154 home. Wondering what guys are doing with the front/rear susp setup to get things close before i head out? I weigh 250, and ride really hard, fast on the trail, try to hit all the jumps i can. I've never had shocks like this so opinions would be great. Also where...
Wow, those pics bring back some crazy memories. You can get into oasis with a newbie cause that where SaskSummit and a bunch of his crew took me the first time i ever rode a sled. sharted in my pants though on the way out. You can just make out the tracks out in the last picture. Hooked me...
Hope you don't have to return anything to this guy. Bought boards at the Edmonton sled show, turned out to be for a rev not an xp. E-mailed him as soon as i found out and he said he would get back to me as soon as he was back in canada for his next show. Never heard back so i tried a few more...
I know everyone is stoked about the snow but we have to be careful. We set off a small avy in clemina on sunday and talked to another group who did the same on sunday as well.
