I bought some RSI risers and I am going to buy freeride bars for my 2011 xp. I am looking at options for relocating my switch block. I seen that RSI has a kit but its $60. I found some cheap hi/low/off switches for the heaters and am going to mount them on the console. I am not going to reinstall a headlight dimmer switch. What I was wondering was will a generic push button kill switch work for a reverse switch. Anyone who has done this ur info would be appreciated.

Yup we used a fly racing billet kill switch for the RER switch works perfect.

The heater switches, you have to have intermittent ones if your XP is a "X" pkg.(digital gauge)

I found something you may be interested in on canadasledparts.com for a skidoo handle bar switch relocator, it looks good and is only about $50.

Here's what i did. Had a old nun from a rev. Took one of the braces off and used it for a mount. Strong and light. Used some old handle bar I had, then used the bar end hook jam thing inside with the 2 halfs.

pictures... this one has me interested/

Brent cut the backside out of the cluster cover to make enough space for the switch components and mounted the front half of the switch to the plastic, he also put some foam behind the hi/lo beam switch to prevent snow from getting behind the switch. Really easy to use and now he cant hit the reverse by accident with his leg.

Thanks for the pics. Like what was said the trying to fummble for the e start button would suck. Tex's might work better in that case
