    Duraclutch

Anyone tried a Duraclutch on a 900 Ranger? Thinking of trying one. They are a bit pricey!

    Club Grooming Protocols

We use the Spot system with a designated check in frequency. Works well for us. Also have cell phones but they do not work in all areas.

    Gear ratio changes?

Actually it dosen't as the 2013 has quite a bit higher top speed. At 50 m.p.h. the 2015 is 4-500 r.p.m. higher. Reason I am asking is my friend would like to duplicate the 2015 clutching if that is the difference. A lot less chance of frying a belt in high range with the lower gearing.

    Gear ratio changes?

Both units have totally stock clutching.

    Gear ratio changes?

I have a 2015 900 Ranger and a friend has a 2013. Same tires exactly- 28" Mega Mayhems. My 2015 revs quite a bit higher at the same speed. Was there a reduction in gearing? He needs to go in low range a lot and I easily stay in high because I am reving higher.

It is a 2% increase that increases the present rate by 20%. Still one of the lowest in the country. Also Alberta has no PST.

28" Zillas or 27" Mudlite XTR on Ranger 900

28" with a 2" lift. They may have fit without the lift but a bit more clearance is good. 2" is not enough to cause any extra wear.

28" Zillas or 27" Mudlite XTR on Ranger 900

The Mega Mayhem's are a lot stronger than the Zilla's. I have them on my 900 and they work well.

Mega mayhems in mud and snow???

I would of gone wider as well front and rear if they made them. Very impressed with the traction though!

Mega mayhems in mud and snow???

Just put a set of 28" Mega Mayhems on my new 900 Ranger. I think they are a tougher tire than the Zilla for heavier machines. Seem to have great traction!

    Whitecourt

I would advise using the Groat Creek staging area. Still decent snow but it is going fast. Trail was just groomed on Wednesday.
