Never had an issue not having a kickstart. 3 years of riding I have never had to pull the boost pack out of the pack unless it was for someone else's bike.
If nothing else I want an electric snowbike (motocrosser) - just for noise reduction. That is the issue we have with neighbors, etc.
The Redshift is making big strides, KTM is coming out with one next year. I will be buying one in the next two years I am sure for my backyard track.
My worry...
You can run a little gas line anti-freeze no problem when it is this cold. Fresh gas, and clean carb. Instead of trying to pipe cylinder heat, make a little neoprene jacket and put a handwarmer in it. Cheap and effective.
Any MX 450 with a 120 kit will be the ultimate setup, especially up at the Mac. Snowbiking is a game of track speed, so less track = you got it.
YOu are still 2 years away from the FI 300xc making it here. And that will still take a little love to be a proper snowbike (head, pipe, sx...
The biggest advantage with the 4T has been gas and ride. FI is easy to tune and as long as you keep engine temps up you are basically trouble-free riding. The 4T have a larger torque curve and powerband. Where I was using 4 gears on my 300, on the 450 I use 2. And in the mtns, the engine...
Oh. What I really replied for. I spent the $300 for the Holtzman Attac for what was my daughter's Skidoo 550 back then. Ran fantastic, no jetting required. About a 30 minute installation and tune. Well worth it - especially if you have more kids coming up.
Ah Quartz with my Daughter. Have some great memories from there!. And the best thing is the cabin is great, so they can stay warm.
I rode Owlshead, Blue lake and Hunters Range with my daughter for years. Great terrain - just a little more driving from Cowtown. The meadows at all three...
Guys. Just run a pre-filter - no foam. Foam and oil is to reduce dirt intake. We don't have that.
Get a new airbox, cut the bottom out so you don't have the snow build up in the box. It let's it escape. Make sure that you clean the pre-filters to get rid of excess moisture after you thaw...
Anyone want to catch some extra work doing my trailer interior? I have been 1,000 mph at work, and now full swing into kid's hockey season.
I have an Espar already in it, a battery box done and have bought the interior lights and hangers, etc. What I need is someone to hook up the lights and...
Will be for 2014 F250 7.3 diesel. I have just destroyed a set of Toyos in 15K with no towing. Just farming - just lots of gravel driving and pasture checking. I will pull them off for dedicated winters (studded Wranglers). And I am hesitant on Duratracs as they seem to shed rubber on a...
This should be an easy one - or so I thought.
I just want to put a small fridge in my horse trailer. Just to have something on the weekends to keep beer and not to have the hassles with ice.
I have a genset. I have a deep cell battery on the horse trailer that charges from the truck to...
Went up yesterday and the gate on the access road was closed. Why - website says open just not collecting trail fees. That was a pissy long ride on a snowbike to get to 6km where the snow started.
