Where does this stuff go?? It is maddening that you have to lock everything down to an inch of its life just so you can hold onto to your hard earned stuff. And even if you do the fuc&ers still seem to get it. Public flailing should be an option instead of letting the SOBs off with a slap to the...
your thermostat is pooched, the fan has one of those slipping clutches that allows it to kick in when needed, mechanically mind you, but if the engine is not coming up to temp, then your thermostat is staying open, should be at or near the top of the engine. I had the 4.6 V8 which is similar...
He got a 08 Polaris 600 Switchback with a 136 ripsaw track, similar to my 07. He like a kid in a candy store now. Those fuel injected cleanfire engines seem to have a little more snap than the Carbed engines, should be fun. Yeah it is all my fault, eh, what can a guy do eh?
Was planning on going out today, but discretion being the better part of valour thought otherwise. Not really worth the risk to freeze to death in case of something stupid.
It depends on what you do with them. I have a 07 polaris 600 switchback and it has been very reliable, apparently the 600 motor is a good solid motor, 700s not so much. I guess it all depends pn how you look after your stuff too.
This is really cool, and I hope we get to see the finished product. Keep the pics coming and I would like to see the reaction of your Russian guests when you present this.
Take your time getting back on the saddle, I separated my shoulder a number years ago and I should have done more Physio, still hurts from time to time. Do it right the first time and heal well!
Re: A message to all Snow & Mudders. Be safe out there. my season was just cut short.
Get well bud, I can sympathize with you as I broke my collar bone in July and just got back on the quad beginning of November. Hope you heal quick and well. Got to get back on that horse!
I just bought a new...
I would like to know why Alberta hasn't gone to decal plates like other provinces, slap them both sides of the tunnel and you are done. Hard to remove without suspicion to say the least.
Each sled would have its own plate. End of story.
A good way to meet people is to join up at quad rallys as well as go to events such as rodeos etc. People will post looking for other riders as well. Some you will like and others you won't. I have many new friends on here and have gone to many new areas because of it. There is a number of...
Quad Rally. There are two rallys during Slomo days, one for the Quad club and one for the Snowmobile club. Slomo days are in February during the family day weekend.
It is recommended that you use an 8 foot rope or cable to work with a plow. It gives more torque thus easier on the winch. it should reel out at the same speed as it reels in. if not something is binding. Try without the plow, see if it works better. if it does suspect that the cable is binding...
There is talk that there may not be a rally during christmas but that the SloMo days one is still a go. Manpower is part of the problem as well as part of the trail is no longer available to be used. This was spoken about during an informal meeting on the weekend. Bogger is part of the Alberta...
