I never took the sled in for the Big Bore install until the end of February. First trip out was Feb 25 and the snow was hard and wind blown in Allen Creek. I was doing 110 km/h up hill climb and it was still increasing in speed and pulling hard. I ran out of hill.
In the wet heavy snow we had...
I believe the 875 is the equivalent to a low boost altitude compensating kit but does not add the extra weight a turbo does. 875 will produce 25hp extra.
The 950 will put you right at the 200Hp mark.
But your best to call Dean at the shop and talk him about all the details.

I also like not having the extra weight added from turbo, less maintenance with the big bore - Turbos are cool but they come with an extra set of maintenance items and things to check. I don't have fuel controller or air fuel gauge to keep an eye on and adjust. Its literally pull and go, I know...
Yep, just like Corey said. Both sleds were taken to Dean at Mad Motorsports, game plan was made, taken apart motors sent to Linderman, motors returned complete to Dean. Sleds then re-assembled and tuned.
My 875 was picked up from Mad Motorsports and taken to the hills. I have a few days riding...
We only rode Friday and Saturday. But both days we had flawless running sleds.
I didn't ride the 950 much as I found it to be to much sled for me. It has crazy power and torque, it just plain hauls ass! Pin the throttle and it takes off and just flys through the snow, I was not paying...
Holy hell!!! You must have really stepped up your riding game, and your maintenance game.... the Yamamagic must have been sprinkled on extra thick to make all this happen.

We rode Chapple Friday and Today. It's crazy how hard it snowed! All the tracks from Friday were covered and then at least another 2 feet of fresh. It snowed HARD all day today, visibility was low though. Took some pics when we got an hour break from the snow.
The 875 and 950 big bores ran...
In Vale this weekend. Riding with my 875 and meet up with Corey on the 950. Amazing day yesterday, will be in Chappell today. One is a orange SP and mine is a all black XM with no decals

Labor - I had a bunch of other stuff done at the same time so my labor is not an accurate representation. But from what I remember it is about 8hr labor for the motor work.
Does that help ?
Yeah I noticed that too, but it has been so long since I have rode in Vale I couldn't remember what we use to pay. Didn't it use to be $120 tax in?

Mine is 875 pump gas. Have about 150km on mine. Last ride out my riding buddy had trouble with his sled both days... [emoji17] so riding was cut short for the weekend. Zero problems with mine so far and I was not nice to it.

We noticed that our last trip up also. We bought Costco 91 for 0.996 L and took it with us, filled my truck up again today for 0.994 L. I like to support local too but that's an extra $25 a day for two sleds. [emoji19]

** I wanted to share my experience in the process of buying a Big bore kit, no one seems to post much about them so I thought I would share what I found. I’m hoping this will help the next guy, and no I am not getting paid to post this, I did not receive a ‘special price’ if I wrote a review or...
