Nope. Did the Westridge Family loop, boring. Did end up in some valley though which was very nice, before we finished the loop. Also went to some Helicopter fly in place along the Canoe River road, very nice ride that one, ended up crossing Cochrane Crossing and on some sled trails, also very...
So we did our 4 days of riding in Valemount. Stayed at Canoe River Campgound. First day went up Canoe Mountain, snow still on high trail so did not make it all the way to the top. Put on over 300kms in those 4 days, a lot of old forestry road riding, very dusty, recommend dust masks for those...
There are a couple of Raptors just west of Edmonton, along highway 16, someone on here will know the name of the place, can't think of it right now. Anyway they have a tandem axle and a triple axle. At least they were there a couple of weeks ago. A bit far to drive for you though maybe. We had...
I had a 550 Grizz, loved it, very easy to go in tight twisty trails but light in the front. Power is a non issue, it went everywhere the bigger machines went, but it also depends on what kind of riding you do. Excellent build quality. Last year I bought the 650 Can-Am. Love it, very stable, very...
We have a 2008 Keystone Raptor toyhauler, enclosed 10 ' garage , 33 ' long fifth wheel. Third owners, love it, built really well, only issue we have had though is where the man garage door is the small panel above the door let go (in the living area) so we had to put better trim up. I assume...
So we were out in the Edson area this past weekend and for the first time the little dog got to come along. He rode in our friends RZR, in the passenger seat, standing up with his front feet on the "holy ****" handles, very funny to see from behind.lol Alas did not get a pic of that, hard to...
So it just dawned on me that these are actual campgrounds , and that they are not free(random). We have not paid for camping in years .lol Anyone remember the cost per night?, and do you have to pay for wood? We have gotten so used to free camping and hauling our own wood.
Are there any random...
Thinking of going to Valemount area for some camping and quadding. What is this campground like? Can you quad from your site? What about random camping in the area with access to the trails. Overall experience from people who have been there. We have a lot of riding experience and are very clean...
That rule gets ignored in the Crowsnest area especially in the Beaver Mines Lake area. We saw nothing but all the best spots taken up by trailers left all summer. Pissed us off when we realized that, we had a hell of a time trying to get a decent spot. Found out from locals that most of the...
We have had a 660 and about 4 700's. Never had problems, but we did not beat them either and left them stock except putting on Mudlites 1" bigger than stock. Great machines.
Atlas staging area just north of Coleman, AB. We were there 3 summers ago and had a blast, put on about 100kms a day, very easy riding, never winched once. We got a local map at a gas station in town. If you are riding all day bring spare gas, we used it everytime.
If you are going with an enclosed garage, measure very carefully. We have Raptor with a 10' garage, and still had to buy 2 different quads so that they would fit side by side. Now we also bought a Commander and have yet to try it but do not think 10' is long enough with bumpers on both ends of SXS.
