yup... had PRK done about 8 years ago... loved the clearer vision, but I do find that I have a harder time seeing depth in white out conditions then my riding buddies. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I'm just sayin'.... They are also very light sensitive, and I also...
We got a good dump of snow a couple of weeks ago, but it has been +3 up on the hills since then... so there is a crusty layer a few inches down.... :( You can chew thru that to the powder but it is a bit of a bummer!!
conditions are fantastic here right now.... on the Telkwa river side anyway.... I haven't been on the Babine side yet... heading out that way on new years....
ahhhh..... not sure.... I'm really leary of spending to much time up there as last year when I did I ended up paying for it. There is no new snow in the forcast for this week either so we'll probably just play it by ear.... get in touch with us closer to the weekend. :)
:welcomebluesign: to the site! If you're going to spend time in the mountain you might consider taking an avy course.... they are interesting and informative... not to mention it might save your life! Invest in the proper avy equipment and learn to use it also... :)
Agreed! But I think there is a balance to making your kids appreciate what they get by sharing the cost... then they won't grow up expecting society to pay for their lives.
But as for a 9 year old riding an 800.... are you nuts!! You'll be sorry when he wraps that sled around a tree going...
