I believe there is a little screw on the side of the carb that will drain the float bowl. It is located on the side.It will have a flat head screw on it.

I would really check the ground wire. If that isnt the problem you could start to mess with it or mabe you need more air. Try running with the air box open a bit. The first light is is for bottom end zero to half throttle the second light is for mid range and the third is top end. The last two...
