i did the burandt upgrade from nextech works great transfers great, i am just playing with shock pressures now down to 100lbs in the rear shock (testing) transfer is better, ride is significantly improved. i would recommend it.
they are a soft feeling shock, i was running them at 50lbs and weigh 180lbs without gear. what is your rear shock at? if you feel liek it has a harsh ride i recommend the burandt valve upgrade from nexxtech. worked wonders for me. i am just dialing them in now.

you can also ask glen at spindrift in mcbride he installs alot of them and just did mine in my M8 havent had a chance to try it yet. but i do believe that the spring in there is stiffer or longer or both as it is a custom spring that RKT makes (helps the M8 get reverse) mine is the middle, i...

Shouldnt have much of an issue with either, doo carbs are set up well from factory as already mentioned, i would pick the M8 easier to ride and motors run forever in them. you can get a shock revalve to help with the ride. lots of options either way you go. good luck with your choice
sure am a racecar guy love em, oval track though :P

the 2012 pro rmk with electric start was 1 lb heavier than the cat in one of the mags i bought. wet for wet. (electric start weighed i think 15-25 lbs?)
