i did deans bridge last year and it gives a noticable seat of the pants difference. i would recomend this over a pipe or any other bolt on. it removes all hesitation and harshness when the valves do open. as well will get rid of the lean spot mid range from the ecm holding the valves closed for...
i can probably help you out. i've got a couple older hoods. do you have the black pieces still to cover the top of the front tubes. cause you can cut out the old hoods to fit on the newer tundra's. what else you looking for
i'll vouch for dean and the rave valve mod as well. great guy to deal with and i installed the rave valve bridge and the difference in the mid range and throttle response was instantly noticeable. i would recommend it on all stock or modded etecs.
watched a shop mechanic run a brand new sled into the outboard rack, not 5 minutes after installing one for a fellow with one arm. not safe at all.
if you have issues with the thumb throttle when on the off side of the machine look into the finger throttle from munsters. my girlfriend has one...
yup, i told the doo rep they bunged up the freeride good. i was really hoping for a 38-40 wide 154 3" track with the running boards and bracing off the 146 and 137.
like previously stated the freeride is now a summit with a shock package. lots dealers sitting on 3" sp 850's and the rebates...
said with as much intelligence and fact checking as most the whinny posts. you are aware that they two completely different entities. the planes have nothing to do with the rec side of thing and haven't since around 2004ish
so now i'm not an expert. but i have spent a bit of time playing with some clutching.
if you are only using half your primary, say up to third gear with a six gear tranny. doing 80mph with stock gearing. wouldn't their be benefits to gearing for 80mph in 6th gear. like efficiency or clutch...
i think brp has a screw up on the go with the build your machine. i just priced a 154 s-38 package freeride, with a 165 3" for the low price of 18,049 before freight and pdi. sweet jesus i would like one but that would be alot more than i would be wiling to pay.
hey let's turn the back of the p drive into a fan. i wonder how much to retro fit on this years models. cause if i cant keep a belt on a renegade with a 1.75 and knee deep sticky snow. i can't help but believe all the issues with the summit's.
it's probably referencing down hill u turns. the uphill shock would be the inside shock depending on what way you turn. a good set of dual rate spring help alot with this. i've got a z-bro's dual rate set up on the front of my freeride and they made a bigger difference than i expected. going...

plus my dealer binder, if you want 3" it's with a 36" front end both 165, 154. or the 154 2.5 with 40" front end. the most intriguing of any of these is the 146 for me any how. i'm partial to the wide front end and wide running...
i dont know, i much prefer the 40" front end. but brp now has fox qs3 shocks in the accessory catalog for 2500 bucks, i'm not sure if that's cdn or usd
it was the best snow i've ever experienced. thanks ray for the heads up on elevation. and a shout out to chris with ride whistler, what a down to earth guy and awesome guide and teacher. i'll definitely be making that trip again. the girlfriends 146 could have used a little more track though.
no clue on track speed, stock 2.5" gearing for my freeride was 19/49 with 8 tooth drivers 2.86 pitch, and stock 154 t3 gears were 21/49 7 tooth drivers 3" track. so i geared up one tooth from that cause i figured i could comfortably pull an extra tooth up top with my setup.
