haha she is a bit bear like hey? I put a reflective vest on her when I go camping or hiking so people aren't scared. Even then you'd be surprised how many people's initial reaction is fear when she comes to say hi, lol. She's a huge suck though.
Had a super productive weekend. All painting done, backsplash on, hardware back on doors, cabinet doors back on, camper completely sealed on exterior and flooring in. My to do list is getting smaller and I can see the finish line in sight! Whoop!
A buddy told me he saw a bunch, but I've already e-transfered the cash and bought my friend Whiskey, lol. If it doesn't work I'll try something else, but I am having them welded on so hopefully that helps
Thank you! I'll be working on her all weekend. Hoping to have everything except exterior painting done this weekend. Then the welder comes Monday to weld on steps, the jacks and some tie downs for me :)
Yep I have considered it but it doesn't really concern me. Funny you say that though I had a new trailer to live in when I was doing my renos and that thing let in so much dust on gravel roads I couldn't believe it. You'd think a new trailer and spending x amount of dollars you wouldn't have to...
She didn't say that was an option. Her response was "Unfortunately, we cannot insure the camper that will be mounted on the trailer as it will be a “homemade unit”."
Question: Anyone here have an insurance company that will insure this redneck rig? My broker is telling me they will only insure the trailer, not the camper or anything else.
oh man that is crappy timing! At least it worked enough to get you through May Long haha.
Thanks! I'm just glad she didn't do any damage. I thought for sure she at least took out a light. Well you are making my concern about the turn buckles very valid. I'm not sold on that being how I...
That is a fantastic idea. I will have to see if I can located the bracing underneath. I am boxing it in on the outside around the base of the camper to prevent shifting of any sort. I like that idea way better than using turn buckles on the exterior, just seems a little more solid.
I like...
Productive weekend painting. Need one more coat everywhere and then finish up a few spots then I'll be good to put doors and hardware back in. Picked out flooring and back splash too. Today is the day for craning it onto the flat deck, wish me luck! :/
