pretty sure it goes under the secondary spring away from the helix. (clutch side) you need a spring compressor to take the helix off its under alot of pressure.

When i was looking it was cheaper to extend the trailer tongue. I only had a class 3 hitch on my truck and to be legal weight wise i had to up grade hitch as well. in the end i bought a bigger trailer

I cant remember what year you have but the 08's had rivet behind the chain case that rubbed on the wires coming from the stator. There was a recall back then but Ive seen two this year wore threw and both had the recall done in 08. when your trying to start it just lift up on the wires coming...

sounds like teather except for the unplug cluster and it worked part. just had a friends 08 give weird engine light and died on and off. Turned out to be the stater wire that ran behind the chaincase. There was a 08 recall(rub on rivet) long ago but the "recall fix" decal and glob of silcone had...

I got mine from doo dealer they had them in stock(Edm) and I just used a really small screw driver to release it from connector(took a while but it came out)
